Awesome New Find...CB2

It is hard to find contemporary or modern furniture at reasonable prices.  Yes, I desire to own a Bertoia Side Chair (one day and preferably more than one) but currently I do not have the extra hundreds of dollars lying around at my disposal.  Ikea is usually the best option for someone on a budget, someone like me, but not everything at Ikea is what I am looking for.  Also, I question the quality a bit because I just don't understand how a chair can cost $19.99 (the Snille chair).  Honestly, how? 

But today I came across a great option for cheaper contemporary furniture...CB2.  It is a sister company of Crate and Barrel (I assume that is what the 'C' and 'B' stand for) and although Ikea's prices are cheaper in general, CB2 is still pretty affordable.  Is this place old news to most people?  I have never heard of it so after perusing their website, I am definitely excited about their product and have a couple of items on my always-increasing wish list.  My favorite has to be the echo custard chair (I'm a sucker for yellow) which is only $79.95.  The yellow is fantastic and would add such a nice pop of color to my room.  

 

They also appear to have Bertoia knock-offs so maybe my dreams can become a reality sooner than I anticipated.  And CB2 does gift registries so for all those modern-inclined brides and grooms out there, you're in luck!

So maybe I am late to jump on the CB2 bandwagon but better late than never right?  As I slowly start to acquire furniture for my life, I will definitely consider CB2 furniture an option.  It is comforting to know that options do exist out there...even for those of us who aren't millionaires.
