After the Fair...
Monday, October 10, 2011 at 12:25PM Welcome back me! I have been away from this blog for far too long. I am so ready to get back in the swing of things today. How was everyone's past week? On Saturday I had my first craft fair experience, as a seller, and so my time was completely devoted to that up until then. It was pretty much non-stop crafting for the last few weeks. I got just a few hours of sleep the night before the fair and was running on adrenaline on Saturday. I collapsed once I got home. I went to bed at 9 and slept for 12 hours! Yesterday was a relaxing day for me and today has been kind of the same so far. Giving my mind and body a little time to recover. I have always read that craft fairs are a lot of work and now I know, that's the truth. They wipe you out.
The fair went really well and I was super proud of all that I was able to produce. For me, this first fair wasn't about selling a certain amount of items or anything like that. It was all about that first time experience and I learned SO much. Now I know I can do it and I look forward to more craft fairs in the future, maybe even something as big as Renegade someday soon. I have pictures to share but I haven't gone through them yet. I have just a few sneak peeks to share today, including a few pre-weekend pictures of my workspace and some instagram pictures I took on my phone on Saturday (I shared them on Twitter over the weekend). So enjoy these pictures for now and I will soon be sharing more.

Also, I will be having a giveaway this week for one of my embroidery items from the fair. Anyone and everyone can enter so be sure to check back tomorrow for that.
And another also, I will slowly be listing my items from the fair in my Etsy shop this week so you can do some virtual shopping if you wish. Have a great Monday and be sure to stop back by this week for more post-fair goodness.
