Houzz January Ideabook

Happy Tuesday friends! Today I want to share the ideabook that I put together for Houzz this month. This is my third month working with Houzz and I really enjoy "the search" of getting inspiration and finding cool products (learn about my collaboration here). This month I knew I wanted to focus on spring and have a palette of bright, cheerful colors. Here is what inspired the whole ideabook:

I immediately fell in love with this illustrated wallpaper. The citrus colors were so fresh. This image inspired me to curate a gallery of modern tea party elements that included colors like: citron, salmon, lime, persimmon, teal, and aquamarine. But I paired the brights with neutrals, whites and greys, so that nothing was overpowering.

You usually associate tea parties with little, old ladies but I dreamed up a party that would be nothing of the sort. Here is what I put together:

While working on this ideabook, I have come across these colors in quite a few places. I have seen them on Pinterest, in retail stores, online...clearly these colors are 'in' this spring. Do you like citrus-y brights like this? Have you been encountering these hues? Would you like to attend a modern tea party?!
